About this course
ABC’s core materials-handling course for safer loading, unloading, inspection, and warehouse movement. Public classes run in Bellville; on-site groups can be arranged for employer teams. This pathway is not in the first Moodle online set — book a practical with an ABC assessor.
What you will learn
- Pre-use inspection and reporting of defects
- Load stability, stacking, and racking awareness
- Safe travel, visibility, and pedestrian control
- Loading, unloading, and parking procedures
- Workplace rules that sit alongside practical assessment
Prerequisites
- Valid South African ID or passport
- Ability to understand instruction in the language of the class
- Medical certificate of fitness where the site or equipment class requires it
